We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our newly registered members and make them feel "at home" in our portal. Despite the fact that we might or not know each other in person - WE'VE MISSED YOU! 

We always do miss our alumni to share their thoughts, energy, involvement, and we sure hope they find in the portal, even if in a very limited measure, the ideas, connections, and networking elements that they love and need. 

I had a very lovely exchange of correspondence last week with a newly registered alumni, Andrei Harnagea who, among other things, said: “I know I wished I had more guidance before choosing a college and going on a career path about the realities of what I want to do and how that translates to a job or career. I had a great mentor in my Senior year in college that was able to give me some really pragmatic advice which really pushed me to make some right decisions quickly. I would love to have the chance to pay that favor back myself.”

His words warmed my heart, as this is exactly the spirit that we always receive from our amazing alumni community, and hope to always benefit from this kind of support. 

Connecting, sharing, giving back, supporting, etc - all these things have in the base the passion! The passion for the special legacy, community and belonging that we share, for the human value of raising and supporting each other. Andrei added himself to the Expertise Platform that we have created, where various members of the AISB Community share their field of expertise and their willingness to spare some time and help our students, when needed—either with a call, with email exchange, answering their questions and offering as much support as possible. At times even just one piece of advice cuts through the thick fog of confusion, a phrase, an example shared jokingly. This is a tool that helps our students a lot. The Curricula Coordinator or Counselors' Team are the only two teams that will get in touch with you, and/or connect you to a student or a small group of them. Please feel free to add your comments in this form, and share suggestions.
