Alumni News |
Dear all, please join me in welcoming one of the most senior alumni of our School, John Shaw. This is a special day because it is not every day that we have a former student, who attendet AISB in 1962, request to activate their alumni profile. Yes, you heard it right - 1962! I was so happy when I received the email from John, writing "my brothes and I were some of the original students of the School in 1962".
John shared with me an article of the New York Times that speaks about his father, who at the time was a diplomat here in Bucharest.
I then received from Alex an article that John had writen some years back for our World Magazine, and I thought it would be nice to share this with you all.
Connection through alumni associations is often seen just as a networking commodity, and we often miss the incommensurable emotional value of various generations connecting, sharing and valuing the energy exchanged.
Enjoy and happy connection!
