Dear Alumns and wider community,
The American International School of Bucharest is proud to announce it’s annual scholarship contest will begin on Thursday, February 14th with an open house from 18:00-20:00 at the school theater. A maximum of 3 places are available for students entering grade 8 and 9 in the 2019 - 2020 school year.
Students who wish to pursue a scholarship opportunity will need to sit for the following exams:
March 9, 2019 - 1st exam (Math, English, Non-Verbal)
April 13, 2019 - 2nd exam (Math, English); (Students must provide academic files)
Exam results and student files will be reviewed by all members of the scholarship committee.
Interviews with finalists will be conducted on May 18th 2019, with a final decision announced on May 25th, 2019.
Students interested in attending the open house to begin the scholarship contest process, or to learn more information about the scholarship, should send an email to:
Nicoleta Pastravanu: npastravanu@goaisb.ro, by Wednesday, February 13 to register for the event. The email should include the following information:
Student Name
Name of Visitors attending the Open House
Grade level the student will apply for joining (next school year)
Student contact information: email and phone number
How student found out about the scholarship
*All visitors MUST have a valid photo ID to enter the school grounds.
